Crookston<\/a><\/strong> \u2014 A Crookston man has been charged in Polk County District Court after a traffic stop on March 4, 2026.<\/p>\n

Charges Filed<\/h2>\n

According to the complaint, Duaine Armond Anderson, 49, faces a gross misdemeanor count of driving after cancellation inimical to public safety. He also faces a misdemeanor count for failing to provide proof of insurance.<\/p>\n

Court records say the stop happened in Crookston after a deputy saw a vehicle with expired registration. The driver was identified as Anderson. The complaint states he could not provide a driver\u2019s license or proof of insurance during the stop.<\/p>\n

The complaint says Anderson\u2019s driving status was canceled as inimical to public safety. It also says he acknowledged that he should not have been driving.<\/p>\n

The case was filed in the Minnesota Judicial Branch<\/a> court records under file number 60-CR-26-284. The cited statutes are Minnesota Statute 171.24<\/a> and Minnesota Statute 169.791<\/a>.<\/p>\n

All charges are allegations. Anderson is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.<\/p>\n
