Ashby, Otter Tail County<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me)<\/a> \u2014 A 9-year-old boy was airlifted to Fargo on Sunday after a dirt bike crash northeast of Ashby.<\/p>\n

Emergency Response Near Ashby<\/h2>\n

The crash was reported at about 3:24 p.m. in rural Otter Tail County. The Otter Tail County Sheriff\u2019s Office said the boy was unconscious when first responders arrived.<\/p>\n

Officials said he was unresponsive for about five minutes. He later regained consciousness at the scene.<\/p>\n

Boy Flown to Fargo Hospital<\/h2>\n

Life Link 3 flew the child to a hospital in Fargo for treatment. Authorities have not released an update on his condition.<\/p>\n

The boy was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. That may have helped reduce more serious injuries.<\/p>\n

Multiple Agencies Responded<\/h2>\n

Ashby Fire, Ashby Ambulance, Life Link 3, and the Otter Tail County Sheriff\u2019s Office responded.<\/p>\n

The crash remains under investigation. More details may be released later by the Otter Tail County<\/a> Sheriff\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n
