HIBBING<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me)<\/a> \u2014 A woman has died after suffering serious injuries in a garage fire in Hibbing on Thursday, April 9.<\/p>\n

Emergency Response on Mesabi Drive<\/h2>\n

According to Hibbing Police, officers responded at about 3:35 p.m. to the 400 block of Mesabi Drive. When they arrived, they found the woman on fire inside a garage.<\/p>\n

First responders quickly put out the flames and began medical care at the scene. The woman was then taken to Fairview Range<\/a> for emergency treatment.<\/p>\n

Officials said she was later airlifted to Hennepin Healthcare<\/a> in Minneapolis. Authorities said she later died from her injuries.<\/p>\n

Early Findings Released<\/h2>\n

In a statement, the Hibbing Police Department<\/a> said early findings point to a self-inflicted act.<\/p>\n

Police also said there is no evidence that any other person was involved. Investigators have not released the woman\u2019s name.<\/p>\n

The case remains under investigation. Authorities said the incident will be reviewed by the Midwest Medical Examiner\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n
