Benjamin Joseph Nordick<\/strong>, 39, was arrested on April 9, according to court documents. Police responded to a domestic violence report at a home in West Fargo.<\/p>\n

What Court Records Allege<\/h2>\n

According to court documents, the incident happened around 3 a.m. on April 8. Police say Nordick threatened the woman during an argument inside the home.<\/p>\n

Investigators allege he said he would bury her in the backyard. Court records also say he bit her lip, pushed her, and headbutted her.<\/p>\n

Police also allege Nordick took the woman\u2019s phone during the dispute. Court documents say he did that to stop her from calling the police.<\/p>\n

Records also say he blocked a bedroom doorway. Investigators say that prevented the woman from leaving the room.<\/p>\n

When officers arrived, court documents say Nordick forced his way into the bedroom. Police say he pushed the woman into a dresser before officers arrested him.<\/p>\n

The woman was not named in the court documents. The charges remain accusations until the case is decided in court.<\/p>\n

Charges Filed<\/h2>\n

Nordick is charged with terrorizing an adult victim, a Class C felony. He also faces a Class A misdemeanor for interfering with an emergency call.<\/p>\n

He is also charged with domestic violence causing bodily injury, a Class B misdemeanor. The case now moves forward through the court system.<\/p>\n

Court Hearing Set<\/h2>\n

At a court appearance on Friday, Nordick pleaded not guilty to the misdemeanor charges. A preliminary hearing on the felony charge is set for May 29 at 1:30 p.m.<\/p>\n

That hearing will address the felony count. The case remains pending.<\/p>\n
