Prosecutors charged Caide Lawrence Northrup<\/strong>, 22, with driving after cancellation that was deemed inimical to public safety. The charge falls under Minnesota Statute 171.24<\/a>.<\/p>\n

What the complaint says<\/h2>\n

The complaint states the stop happened on October 24, 2025, at about 12:33 p.m. Authorities said a vehicle was seen traveling 72 miles per hour in a 55 mile per hour zone on County Highway 14.<\/p>\n

According to the complaint, the driver was identified as Northrup. Court records say he admitted he was speeding. The complaint also says he told the officer he did not have a valid driver\u2019s license.<\/p>\n

Authorities then checked his driving status. The complaint says his license had been canceled as inimical to public safety. Prosecutors allege he knew, or should have known, about that cancellation.<\/p>\n
