Frazee (trfnews.i234.me)<\/a><\/strong> Ricky Dee Thomas Jr., 32, of Frazee, has been sentenced in Becker County District Court in a felony drug case. Court records show the case involved methamphetamine sales in April 2025.<\/p>\n

According to the criminal complaint, a confidential informant told a drug task force agent that a meth purchase had been arranged with Thomas. Later that day, Thomas allegedly sold 12.791 grams of methamphetamine for $300 at his home in Frazee.<\/p>\n

Details From Court Records<\/h2>\n

The complaint states the sale happened on April 14, 2025. Investigators said the buy was set up through a confidential informant who had worked with law enforcement.<\/p>\n

Thomas was also sentenced in a second drug case tied to an earlier sale. In that case, court records say he sold about 3.5 grams of methamphetamine on April 10, 2025. That sale was also made to a confidential informant working with the task force.<\/p>\n

Sentence Ordered By Court<\/h2>\n

On March 26, Becker County District Judge Gretchen Thilmony sentenced Thomas to 98 months in prison. The prison sentence was stayed for five years.<\/p>\n

Thomas was ordered to serve four days in jail. He received credit for four days already served. The court also ordered him to pay a $200 fine, $160 in court fees, and $400 in restitution.<\/p>\n

On the third-degree drug charge, Thomas was fined $500 and ordered to pay another $160 in court fees. The sentences will run at the same time.<\/p>\n

Drug Court Requirements<\/h2>\n

As part of the sentence, Thomas must enter and complete Drug Court. He must follow all rules, directions, and orders from the Drug Court team.<\/p>\n

He also must not drink alcohol or use recreational drugs. The court ordered him to complete a full assessment and cognitive skills training. He must also follow all aftercare recommendations.<\/p>\n
