Beltrami County<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 Four people were hurt after an ambulance crashed early Saturday on Highway 89 in Liberty Township.<\/p>\n

The crash happened at about 2:38 a.m. near mile marker 8, based on the incident report.<\/p>\n

Authorities said the ambulance was traveling southbound before the driver lost control.<\/p>\n

The vehicle then went into the east ditch along Highway 89.<\/p>\n

After leaving the road, the ambulance rolled onto its passenger side.<\/p>\n

Four Taken to Hospital<\/h2>\n

The driver was a 63-year-old man from Bemidji.<\/p>\n

Three other people were riding in the ambulance at the time.<\/p>\n

All four people were taken to Sanford Bemidji Hospital<\/a> for treatment.<\/p>\n

Officials said the injuries were not life-threatening.<\/p>\n

No names were released in the incident report.<\/p>\n

Seat Belts Were In Use<\/h2>\n

Authorities also reported that all four people were wearing seat belts.<\/p>\n

That likely helped reduce the seriousness of the injuries.<\/p>\n
