The case was filed in Beltrami County District Court. The complaint lists one count of fourth-degree burglary. Prosecutors say the case stems from an alleged theft on February 4, 2026.<\/p>\n

What the complaint says<\/h2>\n

According to the complaint, Amanda Marie Iceman entered the Bemidji Walmart and later left through a fire exit. The complaint says she had unpaid merchandise when she left the store.<\/p>\n

Court records say store video showed the alleged theft. The total value of the merchandise was listed at $280.60. The complaint says the store was open to the public at the time.<\/p>\n

Prosecutors charged Iceman under Minnesota Statute 609.582<\/a>. The complaint lists the charge as fourth-degree burglary. The listed maximum penalty is 364 days in jail, a $3,000 fine, or both.<\/p>\n

Prior trespass notice<\/h2>\n

The complaint also says Iceman had already been barred from Walmart property. Court records say she was served with a trespass notice on April 8, 2025.<\/p>\n

That notice allegedly banned her from all Walmart retail properties for life. The complaint says she signed the notice. Prosecutors say the new case happened within one year of that warning.<\/p>\n
