Mahnomen County<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 A Brooklyn Center woman now faces felony drug charges after a search warrant raid at a Mahnomen residence, according to a criminal complaint filed in Mahnomen County District Court.<\/p>\n

Prosecutors charged Jaycia Lace Littleowl, 23<\/strong>, with third-degree sale of a narcotic, fifth-degree drug possession, and giving a false name to police. The charges stem from a warrant search on or about March 17 and March 18, 2026, at a home along State Highway 200.<\/p>\n

Charges Filed In Mahnomen County<\/h2>\n

According to the complaint, Littleowl is accused of selling a mixture containing a narcotic drug. She is also accused of possessing methamphetamine. In addition, prosecutors allege she gave officers the name and birth date of another person during the investigation.<\/p>\n

A third-degree drug sale charge carries a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison, a $250,000 fine, or both. The fifth-degree possession charge carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison, a $10,000 fine, or both. The false-name charge is a gross misdemeanor.<\/p>\n

Court records say investigators executed a knock-and-announce search warrant at the property. Several people were found inside the home. Those named in the complaint include Kenneth Joel Lafriniere Jr., Guy Anthony Keezer Jr., Jeremy Curtis Neeland, Leslie Joy Keezer, and Jemichael Leon McCoy Jr.<\/p>\n

What Investigators Said They Found<\/h2>\n

The complaint says Kenneth Lafriniere Jr. told investigators he knew a woman in a north bedroom as \u201cJaycee.\u201d He also said he received fentanyl from the people staying in that room and allowed them to stay there in exchange for drugs.<\/p>\n

Investigators said the woman first gave false names before they later identified her as Jaycia Lace Littleowl.<\/p>\n

Authorities said they found cash, scales, bindles, burnt foil, and suspected narcotics in the northwest bedroom. The complaint states that room was being used by Littleowl and McCoy.
\nInvestigators also seized $9,195 from Littleowl, according to the complaint. They reported that most of the money was in $20 bills. The complaint also says two paper bindles were removed from her purse.<\/p>\n

Field tests later gave presumptive positive results for methamphetamine and fentanyl, the complaint states. Investigators also reported finding mannitol, which they said is often used as a cutting agent.<\/p>\n

What Comes Next<\/h2>\n

The complaint says Littleowl also had active warrants for failing to appear in earlier cases. As of this filing, the charges in Mahnomen County remain allegations. The case must still be proven in court.<\/p>\n
