Fargo<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 A 59-year-old Fargo man was arrested Tuesday after police responded to a disturbance on Roberts Street North.<\/p>\n

Authorities said the call came in at about 2:49 p.m. on March 17. Officers were sent to the 100 block of Roberts Street North.<\/p>\n

According to police, the man was upset and armed with a baseball bat. He was also accused of making threats during the incident.<\/p>\n

Disturbance Leads to SWAT Response<\/h2>\n

Police identified the suspect as Dennis Christensen, 59, of Fargo.<\/p>\n

Investigators said Christensen was striking walls with the bat inside the residence. Police said he then refused to come outside.<\/p>\n

Because he would not exit, the Red River Valley SWAT Team was called to the scene.<\/p>\n

Officers later breached the door and gave commands inside the home. Christensen was then taken into custody.<\/p>\n

Police said the arrest happened without further incident. No injuries were reported in the release.<\/p>\n

Christensen was arrested on a terrorizing charge. Police also said he was taken in on an unrelated warrant.<\/p>\n

After the arrest, he was transported to the Cass County Jail<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Police have not released more details about what led to the disturbance.<\/p>\n
