Bemidji, Minnesota<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 A Walker woman is facing felony and gross misdemeanor charges after a late-night traffic stop in Bemidji, according to a criminal complaint filed in Beltrami County District Court.<\/p>\n

Jordan Janine Johnson<\/strong>, 31, was charged with fifth-degree drug possession and giving a false name to police. The charges stem from a stop on March 7, 2026.<\/p>\n

Charges Filed In Beltrami County<\/h2>\n

According to the complaint, Johnson is charged with felony fifth-degree drug possession. Prosecutors allege she possessed methamphetamine during the stop.<\/p>\n

She is also charged with giving the name and birth date of another person to police. That charge is a gross misdemeanor.<\/p>\n

The drug charge was filed under Minnesota Statute 152.025<\/a>. The false-name charge was filed under Minnesota Statute 609.506<\/a>.<\/p>\n

What The Complaint Says Happened<\/h2>\n

The complaint says police stopped a vehicle at about 11:45 p.m. on Paul Bunyan Drive. The stated reason was a loud exhaust.<\/p>\n

Investigators said the vehicle had also been near Ridgeway Avenue NW. That area is within about one city block of the Bemidji Skatepark.<\/p>\n

According to the complaint, Johnson was riding as a passenger. Police said she identified herself using another person\u2019s name and birth date.<\/p>\n

Authorities said that name and birth date belonged to a real person. The complaint says Johnson was then arrested.<\/p>\n

Police later found Johnson\u2019s purse, according to court records. Inside, investigators said they found a bindle with a substance that field-tested positive for methamphetamine.<\/p>\n

The complaint also says Johnson admitted the bindle contained methamphetamine.<\/p>\n
