Goodridge<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 A Goodridge man is facing charges after deputies responded to a 911 hangup call on March 7 and later found him a short distance away, according to the complaint.<\/p>\n

What Happened<\/h2>\n

Michael Tyler Moe<\/strong>, 36, of Goodridge, has been charged with third-degree refusal to submit to a breath test and fleeing an officer by means other than a motor vehicle.<\/p>\n

Authorities say dispatch received a 911 hangup call from 206 Guinan Avenue North in Goodridge. Deputies then responded to the address to check on the call and the people there.<\/p>\n

After arriving, deputies learned that Moe had allegedly driven away from the scene. The complaint says deputies believed he was intoxicated at the time.<\/p>\n

One deputy then drove south on Highway 219 and spotted a parked vehicle in a church lot. The deputy believed the vehicle matched one known to be driven by Moe.<\/p>\n

Search Ends on Brandenburg Street<\/h2>\n

After turning around and heading onto Brandenburg Street, the deputy reported seeing a man leave the vehicle and run away. The man was believed to be Moe.<\/p>\n

According to the complaint, deputies repeatedly told him to stop. Moe then stumbled and fell. He got up, but fell a second time.<\/p>\n

Deputies then caught up with him and placed him in handcuffs. The complaint says deputies saw signs of impairment during the arrest.<\/p>\n

Moe also allegedly refused to take field sobriety tests at the scene.<\/p>\n

Items Found in Vehicle<\/h2>\n

Investigators reported finding an empty Angry Orchard box inside the vehicle. The box did not contain any bottles or cans.<\/p>\n

A deputy also reported finding full bottles of Miller Lite in the vehicle.<\/p>\n

Breath Test Refusal Allegation<\/h2>\n

At the jail, deputies read Moe the breath test advisory, according to the complaint. Moe allegedly responded several times by saying, \u201cI plead the fifth.\u201d<\/p>\n

The complaint says he declined to contact an attorney because he believed his attorney was sleeping. Authorities say he then refused the breath test.<\/p>\n
