Ward County<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 A 60-year-old Foxholm man died after an off-highway vehicle rollover northwest of Burlington on March 8, authorities said. Public reports reviewed on Tuesday did not list the man’s name.<\/p>\n

What Happened<\/h2>\n

The crash happened in the 7200 block of 87th Street Northwest. The site is northwest of Burlington in Ward County. Authorities said the man was driving a 2001 Polaris Magnum 500 north on the road. The road was gravel and muddy. The weather was clear, and light was fading.<\/p>\n

Investigators said the Polaris hit mud and standing water. The driver then lost control. The vehicle left the road on the west side. It entered the ditch and overturned.<\/p>\n

Authorities said the exact crash time is still unknown. The incident was reported at about 7:35 p.m. Central Time. First responders took the driver to Trinity Health<\/a> in Minot. Hospital staff later pronounced him dead.<\/p>\n

Response From Agencies<\/h2>\n

The North Dakota State Patrol<\/a> said the driver was not wearing a helmet. The patrol is leading the investigation.<\/p>\n

Other agencies also responded to the scene. They included the Ward County Sheriff\u2019s Office<\/a>, Burlington Police Department, Burlington Fire Department, and Trinity Health First Response Community Ambulance Service.<\/p>\n

Officials have not released more details about the victim. Current public reports identify him only as a 60-year-old man from Foxholm. No public mugshot was available in the reports reviewed for this story.<\/p>\n
