Felony charge filed<\/h2>\n

According to the criminal complaint, 29-year-old Triniti Lee Arthur<\/strong> is charged with taking or driving a motor vehicle without the owner\u2019s consent. The case was filed in Mahnomen County in Minnesota\u2019s 9th Judicial District.<\/p>\n

Court records say the reported offense happened on or about February 12, 2026. The charge is a felony. Under Minnesota Statute 609.52<\/a>, the listed maximum penalty is five years in prison, a $10,000 fine, or both.<\/p>\n

What the complaint says<\/h2>\n

The complaint says Larry Clark reported the vehicle stolen to the Mahnomen County Sheriff\u2019s Office on February 12. Clark told authorities he had been arrested on February 9. He said he left his vehicle at Arthur\u2019s residence in Mahnomen.<\/p>\n

Clark also told authorities he left his wallet and keys with Arthur. He said he told her not to drive or take the vehicle. He later asked his brother to pick up the keys, wallet, and vehicle.<\/p>\n

According to the complaint, Clark spoke with Arthur on February 11. He said Arthur told him she had taken the vehicle and ended up in the ditch near Fosston. Clark said she told him the vehicle was back in town.<\/p>\n

Vehicle later found<\/h2>\n

The complaint says a deputy later told Clark the vehicle was at DL Towing in Detroit Lakes. Authorities said it had been found in a ditch in Becker County and was towed on February 12.<\/p>\n

Clark told law enforcement he believed Arthur may have taken the vehicle again the night before. He said he never gave her permission to use it. He also said he had the signed title from the previous owner.<\/p>\n

Case remains an allegation<\/h2>\n

The complaint lays out the state\u2019s version of events. It is not a conviction. Arthur is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.<\/p>\n

The case will move through the court process in Mahnomen County. More hearings may be scheduled as prosecutors and the defense address the charge.<\/p>\n
