Fisher Township, Polk County<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 Two people from Grand Forks were hurt in a two-vehicle crash on westbound Highway 2 in Fisher Township on Sunday.<\/p>\n

The crash happened at about 12:10 p.m. on March 8, 2026. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, both vehicles were traveling west on Highway 2 near 367th Avenue Southwest when they collided.<\/p>\n

Authorities said the road was dry at the time of the crash. The report lists the incident as an injury crash. Emergency crews from Crookston Area Ambulance, the Polk County Sheriff\u2019s Office, and Fisher Fire Department responded to the scene.<\/p>\n

Who was involved<\/h2>\n

The first vehicle was a 2008 Ford Escape. The driver was identified as Randy Ray Kostrzewski<\/strong>, 60, of Grand Forks. He suffered non-life-threatening injuries. He was wearing a seat belt. The report said alcohol was not suspected.<\/p>\n

The second vehicle was a 2014 Chevy Suburban. The driver was identified as Isaac Wayne Char Benson<\/strong>, 19, of Manvel, North Dakota. He was not hurt in the crash. He was wearing a seat belt. The Suburban\u2019s airbag deployed. The Ford Escape\u2019s airbag did not deploy.<\/p>\n
