Bemidji<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 A Bemidji woman now faces a gross misdemeanor charge after prosecutors said she entered Walmart despite a prior trespass notice and left with unpaid items.<\/p>\n

According to a criminal complaint filed in Beltrami County District Court, Amanda Marie Iceman<\/strong> is charged with fourth-degree burglary. The charge stems from an incident reported on February 18, 2026, at the Bemidji Walmart.<\/p>\n

What the complaint says<\/h2>\n

The complaint says Amanda Marie Iceman had already been barred from the store. Court records state she was served with a trespass notice on April 8, 2025. That notice allegedly banned her from the Bemidji Walmart for life.<\/p>\n

Prosecutors say she returned to the store on February 18, 2026. A Walmart asset protection worker allegedly saw her enter the business, place several items into a bag, and leave through a fire exit. The complaint says the merchandise was not paid for and that Walmart did not give permission for the items to be taken.<\/p>\n

The case was filed on February 25, 2026. It accuses Iceman of entering a public building with the intent to steal, or stealing while inside, after being told not to return within the previous year.<\/p>\n

Charge and possible penalty<\/h2>\n

The complaint lists the charge as fourth-degree burglary under Minnesota Statute 609.582<\/a>. The filing lists the offense as a gross misdemeanor. The maximum penalty shown in the complaint is 364 days in jail, a $3,000 fine, or both.<\/p>\n

This is not a conviction. It is a formal accusation. The case will move through court before any final outcome is reached.<\/p>\n

The complaint also says a review of Iceman\u2019s criminal history showed an active warrant in another case. That warrant was listed as outstanding since November 7, 2025.<\/p>\n
