Bemidji, Minnesota<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 A Bemidji man faces a felony charge in Beltrami County. Police say he shattered a large window at The Wolfe Center on Jan. 9, 2026.<\/p>\n

The charge names Landrew Terrance Wayne Sailor<\/strong>, 22, as the defendant. The criminal complaint says the damage likely exceeded $1,000.<\/p>\n

What Happened<\/h2>\n

According to the complaint, officers were called to 522 America Ave. NW at about 8:15 p.m. That address is home to The Wolfe Center<\/a>, an emergency shelter in Bemidji.<\/p>\n

The filing says Sailor was outside the building and bleeding heavily from his hand. Officers also said he seemed upset and intoxicated.<\/p>\n

Investigators say Sailor punched the window after a dispute with a family member. The complaint says the window measured about four feet by four feet. Glass was left on the ground outside the building.<\/p>\n

Arrest And Charge<\/h2>\n

After officers detained him, Sailor allegedly said he broke the window because he was angry. The complaint says he did not mean to hurt anyone.<\/p>\n

Police later gave him a preliminary breath test. The complaint says the result was .219. EMS treated Sailor\u2019s hand before officers took him to jail, the filing says.<\/p>\n

Sailor is charged with first-degree damage to property. That is a felony under Minnesota Statute 609.595<\/a>. State law allows up to five years in prison, a $10,000 fine, or both.<\/p>\n

What Comes Next<\/h2>\n

The case was filed in Beltrami County District Court<\/a>. At this stage, the charge is only an allegation. Sailor is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.<\/p>\n
