The overdose happened at a home near Crookston.

A woman identified as A.K.P. was taken to a hospital by ambulance, the complaint says. A family member told investigators that hospital staff found cocaine in her system.

Investigators obtained a search warrant for the Crookston-area home. The complaint says they found suspected cocaine, cash, and firearms inside a locked bedroom.

The resident, Alex Oliver Lee Kaiser, was arrested, according to the filing. It says amounts ranged from two grams to one ounce.

Donaldson also claimed a 9mm pistol and loaded magazines were his, according to the complaint. The filing says his urine test was positive for cocaine.

The charges and what comes next

Donaldson is charged with first-degree sale and first-degree possession of a controlled substance.
