Larry Michael Clark, 61, of Lengby, is charged in Clearwater County court.<\/p>\n

He faces a felony count for fleeing a peace officer in a motor vehicle.<\/p>\n

He also faces a gross misdemeanor for driving after cancellation.<\/p>\n

He also faces a misdemeanor count for fleeing on foot.<\/p>\n

What the police say happened<\/h2>\n

A White Earth Police Department officer saw a black Chevy Cruze near County Road 7 and 300th Street.<\/p>\n

The officer began a welfare check due to the cold weather.<\/p>\n

The complaint says it happened at about 11:33 p.m. on December 13, 2025.<\/p>\n

The officer identified the driver as Larry Michael Clark, the complaint says.<\/p>\n

The officer learned Clark\u2019s driving status was cancelled as a public safety risk.<\/p>\n

The complaint says the officer saw bloodshot, watery eyes.<\/p>\n

It also says the officer smelled alcohol from inside the car.<\/p>\n

The officer asked Clark to exit for field sobriety testing, the complaint says.<\/p>\n

Clark refused, then put the car in drive, the complaint says.<\/p>\n

Police say Clark sped southbound on County Road 7.<\/p>\n

The complaint says speeds reached nearly 80 miles per hour.<\/p>\n

The officer used emergency lights and a siren during the pursuit.<\/p>\n

Police say the chase ended in a driveway along County Road 7.<\/p>\n

The complaint says the officer used a PIT maneuver to stop the car.<\/p>\n

After the stop, Clark and a passenger ran from the vehicle, police say.<\/p>\n

They ran into a wooded area, and officers could not find them.<\/p>\n

Court records show Clark is charged by warrant.<\/p>\n

The complaint was filed on February 9, 2026.<\/p>\n

Judge Eric Schieferdecker signed the arrest warrant.<\/p>\n

The felony charge cites Minnesota Statute 609.487<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The driving charge cites Minnesota Statute 171.24<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The complaint lists 609.487.3, 171.24.5, and 609.487.6.<\/p>\n
