Traffic Stop Near Third Street and Markley Avenue<\/h2>\n

The stop happened on Feb. 21 at about 10:58 p.m.
\nPolice stopped a vehicle near the intersection of Third Street and Markley Avenue.<\/p>\n

Rodney Ordean Peterson, 66, of Thief River Falls, was arrested.
\nHe has been charged with third-degree DWI.<\/p>\n

Complaint Details<\/h2>\n

According to the complaint, Peterson allegedly handed over a debit card.
\nHe reportedly thought it was his driver\u2019s license.<\/p>\n

The complaint says police saw signs of impairment.
\nPeterson allegedly failed field sobriety tests.<\/p>\n

He also took a preliminary breath test, according to the complaint.
\nThe result was listed as 0.15 blood alcohol content.<\/p>\n

A later DMT test was also reported in the complaint.
\nThat test result was listed as 0.17.<\/p>\n

Police also reported finding an open container in the vehicle.
\nA Busch Light beer bottle was found on the passenger floor, the complaint says.
\nThe bottle still contained beer, according to the report.<\/p>\n
