Red Lake County<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 The Red Lake County Sheriff\u2019s Office released a weekly activity report dated Feb. 27, 2026.<\/p>\n

The report covers calls and cases from Feb. 19 through Feb. 26.<\/p>\n

Order complaint closed<\/h2>\n

On Feb. 19, a caller reported a possible restraining order violation.<\/p>\n

A deputy checked the report and found no violation.<\/p>\n

The case was closed with no further action.<\/p>\n

Traffic and vehicle calls<\/h2>\n

On Feb. 20, Lauren Elizabeth Perry, 32, of Oklee, was cited.<\/p>\n

The citation was for misdemeanor driving after suspension.<\/p>\n

The stop happened on 3rd Avenue in Oklee.<\/p>\n

On Feb. 21, deputies responded to a vehicle in the ditch on Highway 32.<\/p>\n

The vehicle was north of Red Lake Falls.<\/p>\n

A Minnesota State Trooper also responded.<\/p>\n

No injuries were reported.<\/p>\n

No damage was reported.<\/p>\n

A tow truck removed the vehicle.<\/p>\n

On Feb. 21, Austen Grant Schneider, 33, of Hendrum, was cited in Red Lake Falls.<\/p>\n

The citation was for expired motor vehicle registration.<\/p>\n

The stop happened on Main Avenue.<\/p>\n

On Feb. 24, deputies assisted a driver on Highway 32 south of Red Lake Falls.<\/p>\n

The vehicle was stalled after running out of gas.<\/p>\n

The driver got help and continued on.<\/p>\n

On Feb. 26, Jerrold Darwin Asp, 56, of Red Lake Falls was cited.<\/p>\n

The citation was for no proof of current insurance.<\/p>\n

The stop happened on Champagne Avenue in Red Lake Falls.<\/p>\n

School safety case under review<\/h2>\n

On Feb. 23, Lafayette High School administrators reported concerning social media messages.<\/p>\n

The messages were linked to a current student, the report said.<\/p>\n

Deputies worked with school staff on safety steps.<\/p>\n

The investigation is ongoing.<\/p>\n

Infant injury investigation<\/h2>\n

On Feb. 25, the sheriff\u2019s office received a report involving an infant.<\/p>\n

The infant, a county resident, was treated at Essentia\u2019s ER in Fosston.<\/p>\n

The report said the injuries appeared suspicious.<\/p>\n

Law enforcement met with hospital staff and the child\u2019s parents.<\/p>\n

The child was placed on an emergency protection hold.<\/p>\n

The child was transferred to Sanford Hospital in Fargo for more care.<\/p>\n

Fosston Police also assisted at the hospital.<\/p>\n

The child remains in county custody.<\/p>\n

The case remains under investigation.<\/p>\n

Other cases<\/h2>\n

On Feb. 25, Cory Allen Koralewski, 46, of Oklee, was cited.<\/p>\n

The citation was for misdemeanor disorderly conduct.<\/p>\n

The report ties the incident to Feb. 12 at TJ\u2019s Tavern in Oklee.<\/p>\n

On Feb. 26, the sheriff\u2019s office received a report of possible child sexual assault.<\/p>\n

The report said it occurred in Red Lake County.<\/p>\n

That investigation remains active.<\/p>\n
