William Elmo Tabb III<\/strong>, 63, of Darwin, is charged with felony fifth-degree drug possession. He also faces a gross misdemeanor ammo charge. The complaint describes him as an unlawful user of a controlled substance.<\/p>\n

Search warrant details<\/h2>\n

The criminal complaint says agents with the CEE-VI Drug and Gang Task Force served the warrant. It happened on February 19, 2026. The time was about 4:48 p.m. The address was in the 600 block of North 1st Street.<\/p>\n

The warrant allowed a search of the home and Tabb\u2019s vehicle. The complaint says Judge Laurence Straton signed the warrant.<\/p>\n

Agents said they found Tabb outside the home. They detained him during entry. They then announced their presence and entered the residence.<\/p>\n

Inside, agents found two other people in a north-side bedroom. They were Caesar Franco and Michelle Marie Olson.<\/p>\n

In that room, agents report finding a Ziploc bag with a crystal substance. The substance field tested positive for methamphetamine. The complaint lists the weight as about 2.5 grams.<\/p>\n

Agents also report finding crystal residue in a picture frame. The complaint lists that residue at 0.07 grams. Agents also reported a snort tube.<\/p>\n

Investigators also reported finding shotgun and handgun rounds. The complaint does not list a firearm.<\/p>\n

In the north bedroom, agents reported drug items and meth residue. The complaint says a K9 unit helped search a vehicle tied to another occupant. The K9 unit was from the Kandiyohi County Sheriff\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n

Tabb was charged with an Order of Detention. The complaint says Judge Stephen John Wentzell signed the order. The order calls for detention, pending more court action.<\/p>\n
