Hubbard County<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 A Park Rapids man faces two felony drug charges after a search warrant. The case was filed in Hubbard County District Court.<\/p>\n

Ryan Anthony Burnos<\/strong>, 44, is charged with third-degree sale of methamphetamine. The sale charge is listed under Minnesota Statute 152.023<\/a>. He is also charged with fifth-degree possession of methamphetamine. The possession charge is listed under Minnesota Statute 152.025<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The prosecutor’s file number is 26CR01062. The court file number is 29-CR-26-136.<\/p>\n

Search and traffic stop<\/h2>\n

According to the criminal complaint, officers served a warrant on Feb. 13, 2026. The location was 23203 County Road 4 in Hubbard County. The search involved the Paul Bunyan Drug Task Force<\/a> and other agencies.<\/p>\n

As officers headed to the home, two people left in a vehicle, prosecutors allege. Burnos rode in the front passenger seat. His mother was also in the vehicle.<\/p>\n

Police stopped the vehicle near Park Rapids, the complaint says. Officers found a black magnetic box on Burnos\u2019s lap. Prosecutors say it held $444 in cash.<\/p>\n

Items found in the home<\/h2>\n

During the search, investigators reported an operating money counter in the living room. They also reported drug items in a north bedroom.<\/p>\n

The complaint lists bags and containers with a crystal-like material. Police say it field-tested positive for methamphetamine. Investigators also reported two digital scales with residue. They reported a measuring scoop with residue.<\/p>\n

Police listed many small \u201cmicro\u201d bags in that bedroom. One container held 278 empty bags, the complaint says. Officers also reported more than a dozen glass pipes. Police say the pipes are often used to smoke meth.<\/p>\n

Investigators reported mail addressed to Burnos in a trash can. They also reported Burnos\u2019 Minnesota ID card in the room. The suspected meth weighed 3.44 grams, including packaging, the complaint says.<\/p>\n

Prosecutors also describe a notebook with handwritten numbers. They say it appeared to be a drug ledger. The complaint does not list a claimed sale amount.<\/p>\n

Burnos did not answer questions, the complaint says. He asked for a lawyer.<\/p>\n

The complaint also lists prior Hubbard County convictions for Burnos. Those include fifth-degree drug possession cases. The list also includes felony fleeing convictions.<\/p>\n
