Avenue NW in Blackduck, records say.<\/p>\n<p>Police said the registration had expired and the exhaust was loud.<\/p>\n<p>Police identified the driver as <strong>Tylor Gordon Aery<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Aery was born on December 2, 1988, records say.<\/p>\n<p>The complaint says Aery had glassy eyes.<\/p>\n<p>Police also noted odd finger movements.<\/p>\n<p>The complaint says medicines, including Adderall.<\/p>\n<p>Police asked him to step out of the vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>Police said he became angry and raised his voice.<\/p>\n<p>Police said he refused field sobriety tests.<\/p>\n<p>Police said he kept trying to return to the vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>The complaint says the passenger got out and yelled.<\/p>\n<p>Police said Aery kept putting his hands in his pockets.<\/p>\n<h2>Arrest and testing<\/h2>\n<p>Police said they detained Aery due to safety concerns.<\/p>\n<p>The complaint says he tensed up and pulled his arm away.<\/p>\n<p>Police said he turned and faced the officer during the struggle.<\/p>\n<p>Police said Aery grabbed at the front of the duty belt.<\/p>\n<p>Police said he reached toward the officer\u2019s firearm.<\/p>\n<p>Police said he was handcuffed and placed in a squad car.<\/p>\n<p>The complaint says Aery\u2019s mother arrived and spoke with deputies.<\/p>\n<p>She told deputies he has temper issues, the complaint says.<\/p>\n<p>She also mentioned possible drug treatment needs, records say.<\/p>\n<p>Police later got a warrant for blood or urine, the complaint says.<\/p>\n<p>Aery chose to give a blood sample,
