Defendants are presumed innocent in court.<\/p>\n<h2>What authorities allege in Cass Lake<\/h2>\n<p>According to a criminal complaint, the incident happened on February 8, 2026, around 4:30 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Police were patrolling near 4th Street and Ash Avenue in Cass Lake.<\/p>\n<p>An officer recognized Johnson and said she had an active warrant.<\/p>\n<p>Police arrested her on that warrant.<\/p>\n<p>Police wrote that Johnson showed signs of impairment.<\/p>\n<p>They noted bloodshot eyes and slurred speech.<\/p>\n<p>They also noted slow movements and tight pupils.<\/p>\n<p>During a search, police say they found burned tin foil and used needles in her purse.<\/p>\n<p>Police also reported finding several food items they believed were stolen.<\/p>\n<p>Johnson told police the items came from a woman using an EBT card.<\/p>\n<p>Police said she could not show a receipt.<\/p>\n<p>Police then went to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.leechlakemarket.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Leech Lake Market<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Police said the store had issued Johnson a trespass notice on December 9, 2025.<\/p>\n<p>The notice barred her from the store for one year.<\/p>\n<p>Police said the video showed her hiding items and leaving without paying.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators also checked a nearby home tied to the call.<\/p>\n<p>They later said the home was under construction by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lennar.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Lennar<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>They said it was not being built by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mihomes.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">M\/I Homes<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Inside the home, police reported finding a cigarette lighter.<\/p>\n<p>Police also reported that an interior garage door was off its hinges.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_19840\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-19840\" style=\"width: 180px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-19840\" src=\"https:\/\/trfnews.i234.me\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Jordan-Janine-Johnson.png\" alt=\"Jordan Janine Johnson\" width=\"180\" height=\"234\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-19840\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Jordan Janine Johnson<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2>Jail search and court details<\/h2>\n<p>Police said a later search at the jail found more items.<\/p>\n<p>They reported finding bindles, or small packets, in Johnson\u2019s inner coat.<\/p>\n<p>Police said the substance tested positive for fentanyl.<\/p>\n<p>They reported a total weight of about 0.42 grams, including packaging.<\/p>\n<p>Court records list the case as filed on February 9, 2026.<\/p>\n<p>The complaint lists the alleged offense date as February 8, 2026.<\/p>\n<p>The case was started by summons, according to the complaint.<\/p>\n<p>Bail was set at $0 with conditions or $10,000 without conditions.<\/p>\n<p>The order was signed by Judge Christopher J. Almarhoon, 44, is charged with DWI and test refusal.<\/p>\n<p>A deputy stopped the vehicle after clocking it at 83 mph on Interstate 94.<\/p>\n<p>The complaint lists the stop time as 2:47 a.m.<\/p>\n<p>The alleged offense date is January 11, 2026.<\/p>\n<p>The case was filed on January 12, 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities said Almarhoon has a prior DWI from August 2019 in Hennepin County.<\/p>\n<p>Bail was set at $0 by Judge Geoffrey W.
