Fargo, North Dakota<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 A 43-year-old Fargo man faces drug and traffic charges after reports in south Fargo on Friday.<\/p>\n

Police identified the driver as James Wason Jr.<\/strong> Officers say he was driving a Chevy Silverado.<\/p>\n

Police say the incident included erratic driving and property damage. The reports came from several blocks in South Fargo.<\/p>\n

Reports of Damage<\/h2>\n

Police received the first call at about 1:52 p.m. The caller reported the truck in the 5500 block of Sunflower Lane South.<\/p>\n

The caller said the pickup hit trash cans. The caller also gave police a license plate number.<\/p>\n

Officers were still driving to that call when a second report came in.<\/p>\n

The second caller reported the same truck in the 4000 block of 51st Way South.<\/p>\n

Police say the driver got out and walked up to the caller. The caller was using an air compressor.<\/p>\n

Police say the driver cut the air line. The driver then got back in the truck and drove away.<\/p>\n

Traffic Stop in South Fargo<\/h2>\n

Officers located the Silverado a short time later. Police stopped the vehicle in the 3700 block of 52nd Avenue South.<\/p>\n

The North Dakota Highway Patrol<\/a> assisted with the stop, police said.<\/p>\n

During the stop, officers reported seeing suspected meth on the driver\u2019s side floorboard.<\/p>\n

Police say that observation led to Wason\u2019s arrest.<\/p>\n

Charges Listed by Police<\/h2>\n

The Fargo Police Department<\/a> said Wason was booked into jail on a methamphetamine possession allegation.<\/p>\n

Police also cited him for reckless driving. Police cited him for criminal mischief as well.<\/p>\n

A booking is not a conviction. Citations are not final findings.<\/p>\n

Prosecutors will review reports and evidence. Court records will show any formal charges and hearing dates.<\/p>\n
