{"id":19013,"date":"2026-02-15T16:15:08","date_gmt":"2026-02-15T22:15:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/trfnews.i234.me\/wordpress\/?p=19013"},"modified":"2026-02-15T15:59:39","modified_gmt":"2026-02-15T21:59:39","slug":"crookston-crash-2-hurt-at-hwy-2-south-rd","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/trfnews.i234.me\/wordpress\/crookston-crash-2-hurt-at-hwy-2-south-rd\/","title":{"rendered":"Crookston Crash: 2 Hurt at Hwy 2, South Rd"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Crookston, Polk County<\/strong> (<a href=\"https:\/\/trfnews.i234.me\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">trfnews.i234.me<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Two people were hurt Sunday morning in a two-vehicle crash near the University of Minnesota Crookston campus.<\/p>\n<p>Minnesota State Patrol said the crash happened at 10:30 a.m. on Feb. 15, 2026.<\/p>\n<p>It happened at Highway 2 and South Road.<\/p>\n<p>Roads were wet.<\/p>\n<h2>What happened<\/h2>\n<p>Troopers said a 1996 Chevrolet Caprice was going north on Highway 2.<\/p>\n<p>A 2006 Ford Focus was going west on South Road.<\/p>\n<p>The vehicles collided in the intersection.<\/p>\n<h2>People involved<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Leonard John Woinarowicz, 62, of Euclid, drove the Caprice. He was not hurt.<\/li>\n<li>Adeline Beatrice Woinarowicz, 82, of Euclid, rode in the Caprice. Her injuries were not life-threatening.<\/li>\n<li>Nickolaus Harvey Bachmeier, 18, of Crookston, drove the Focus.
