What investigators say happened<\/h2>\n

Court records say it happened at about 1:45 a.m. on February 7, 2026. A deputy was on Mission Road in Beltrami County. The deputy reported seeing a Ford F-150 leave the roadway. The truck went into a ditch. The engine was still running.<\/p>\n

The complaint says Kenneth Cloud Goggleye<\/strong>, 40, of Laporte, was in the driver’s seat. The deputy reported smelling alcohol. The deputy reported other signs of impairment. The complaint says a preliminary breath test was used.<\/p>\n

Breath test results<\/h2>\n

Prosecutors say the preliminary test showed 0.14 alcohol concentration. The complaint says Goggleye was arrested at the scene. Records say he later agreed to a breath test at the jail. That test was taken at about 2:32 a.m. It allegedly showed 0.13.<\/p>\n

Prosecutors filed the case on February 9, 2026. The charge alleges 0.08 or more within two hours of driving. The count is a gross misdemeanor under Minnesota law.<\/p>\n
