Stark County, North Dakota<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 A man died Thursday, Feb. 12, after a shooting near an interstate exit east of Dickinson.<\/p>\n

What happened<\/h2>\n

The Stark County Sheriff\u2019s Office said deputies were called about 11:35 a.m. to Interstate 94 Business Loop East.<\/p>\n

The location was just east of Dickinson.<\/p>\n

Deputies found a man with a gunshot wound.<\/p>\n

He was taken to CHI St. Alexius Health Dickinson<\/a>.<\/p>\n

He later died at the hospital.<\/p>\n

Victim and suspect identified<\/h2>\n

On Friday, Feb. 13, officials released the victim\u2019s name.<\/p>\n

Authorities identified the victim as Justin Richard Boersma<\/strong>, 45, of Gladstone, North Dakota.<\/p>\n

Authorities identified the suspect as Mark Terry Clement<\/strong>, 47, of Dickinson.<\/p>\n

Brief pursuit ends at public safety center<\/h2>\n

Investigators said they tried to detain Clement in Dickinson.<\/p>\n

A short vehicle pursuit followed, authorities said.<\/p>\n

The pursuit ended at the Dickinson Public Safety Center<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Clement was taken into custody in the parking lot, officials said.<\/p>\n

Murder charge filed<\/h2>\n

On Feb. 13, Clement was charged with murder, authorities said.<\/p>\n

Officials described the count as intentional or knowing murder of an adult victim.<\/p>\n

Court records can update quickly after a filing.<\/p>\n

Clement is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.<\/p>\n

Road closure and scene work<\/h2>\n

County Highway 10 east of Dickinson was closed Thursday afternoon.<\/p>\n

Deputies and investigators processed the crime scene.<\/p>\n

Reports placed the scene near the business loop corridor.<\/p>\n

Agencies on scene<\/h2>\n

Several agencies responded to the call.<\/p>\n

They included the Stark County Sheriff\u2019s Office<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Dickinson Police Department<\/a> also assisted.<\/p>\n

The North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation<\/a> responded as well.<\/p>\n

The North Dakota Highway Patrol<\/a> assisted with the response.<\/p>\n

Dickinson Fire and EMS were also called.<\/p>\n
