Thief River Falls <\/strong>(trfnews.i234.me<\/a>)\u00a0Police in Thief River Falls arrested a local man after a traffic stop early Friday morning.<\/p>\n

Traffic Stop and Arrest<\/h2>\n

The stop happened on February 7 at about 2:53 a.m.<\/p>\n

Police stopped a vehicle near the intersection of Ninth Street and Atlantic Avenue.<\/p>\n

Authorities identified the driver as Dylan Michael Sherer, 36, of McIntosh.<\/p>\n

Sherer was cited for DWI and placed under arrest.<\/p>\n

What the Citation Says<\/h2>\n

According to the citation, officers observed signs of impairment.<\/p>\n

The citation states Sherer failed field sobriety tests at the scene.<\/p>\n

A preliminary breath test was given during the stop.<\/p>\n

A later breath test was also completed after the arrest.<\/p>\n

Both tests reportedly showed a blood alcohol content of 0.09.<\/p>\n
