Frailan Narvaiz III<\/strong>, 48, is charged in Pennington County. Court records say he had to report job changes. Prosecutors allege he did not report a change in employment.<\/p>\n

Compliance check on Dec. 9<\/h2>\n

A sheriff\u2019s deputy went to 14816 137th Ave. N.E. on Dec. 9. The visit was a compliance check, the complaint says.<\/p>\n

During the contact, Narvaiz said he had been fired about a week earlier. The complaint says he also said he had not reported it.<\/p>\n

Narvaiz told the deputy he would go to the Law Enforcement Center. He said he would complete the form two days later.<\/p>\n

Follow-up on Dec. 15<\/h2>\n

The deputy returned to work on Dec. 15. The deputy learned the form was still missing, the complaint says.<\/p>\n

The deputy then requested a non-compliance packet through the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.<\/p>\n

Later that day, Narvaiz went to the Law Enforcement Center. The complaint says he filled out a change-of-information packet.<\/p>\n

Investigators asked about the last day of employment. The complaint says Narvaiz was unsure about a Dec. 2 end date.<\/p>\n

He later told the deputy the end date was Sept. 2, the complaint says. The deputy confirmed he started Aug. 18 and was fired Sept. 2.<\/p>\n

The complaint says Narvaiz later could not explain the date confusion. He said he did not know why he gave a recent date.<\/p>\n

The complaint also describes a compliance check on Aug. 25. Investigators say Narvaiz had not updated his registration for the same job.<\/p>\n

At that time, he told the deputy he started working about a week earlier, the complaint says.<\/p>\n
