Gregory James Pasquarette<\/strong>, 32, of Plymouth, is charged with felony domestic assault by strangulation.<\/p>\n

He is also charged with felony domestic assault.<\/p>\n

A misdemeanor fourth-degree criminal damage to property charge was also filed.<\/p>\n

What the complaint says<\/h2>\n

Police responded to a noise complaint at the Eastwood Inn Hotel around 3:16 a.m. on January 31, 2026.<\/p>\n

Officers reported hearing arguing inside a room.<\/p>\n

Court records say Pasquarette opened the door.<\/p>\n

He allegedly gave a false name, “Greg Pete,” at first.<\/p>\n

Officers also noted an odor of alcohol.<\/p>\n

The complaint says items were scattered around the room.<\/p>\n

A woman was seen on the far side of the bed.<\/p>\n

She was crying and upset, the complaint says.<\/p>\n

The woman told police she tried to call for help.<\/p>\n

She said Pasquarette took her phone and broke it.<\/p>\n

Officers reported finding the broken phone under a table.<\/p>\n

The woman also reported being strangled during the argument.<\/p>\n

She said Pasquarette put his hands on her throat.<\/p>\n

She described an “X” grip with crossed thumbs.<\/p>\n

The complaint says her breathing was blocked.<\/p>\n

Officers reported marks on her neck and throat.<\/p>\n

Damage reported at the hotel<\/h2>\n

Police also reported damage to a hotel room door.<\/p>\n

They said a door handle was missing from a nearby room.<\/p>\n

They also reported marks on the door.<\/p>\n

They said it looked like it had been struck.<\/p>\n

The complaint says the woman locked Pasquarette out.<\/p>\n

It says he forced his way back in.<\/p>\n

Charges and court<\/h2>\n

The case was filed on February 3, 2026.<\/p>\n

The alleged offense date is January 31, 2026.<\/p>\n

Judge Doug Clark set bail at $2,000 with conditions, court records say.<\/p>\n

Those conditions include a no-contact order.<\/p>\n

The judge also ordered standard release terms.<\/p>\n
