Walker, Cass County<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 A 24-year-old Walker man is charged with third-degree DWI after a traffic stop.<\/p>\n

Tyler Joseph Sea<\/strong>, 24, is charged with gross misdemeanor third-degree driving while impaired. The complaint says his breath test result was .21.<\/p>\n

Traffic stop on Highway 200<\/h2>\n

The stop happened on Wednesday, February 4, 2026. The time was about 8:11 p.m., according to the complaint.<\/p>\n

The complaint says a deputy saw a white truck on State Highway 200. The truck had a driver\u2019s side taillight that did not work.<\/p>\n

The deputy stopped the truck near Onigum Road, south of Walker. Sea was identified as the driver, the complaint says.<\/p>\n

Signs of impairment are alleged<\/h2>\n

The deputy reported watery eyes and slurred speech. The complaint also describes his speech as thick.<\/p>\n

Sea told law enforcement his running lights were out. He also said his last drink was at a friend\u2019s house.<\/p>\n

The complaint says an HGN eye test showed signs of impairment. Sea did not do other walking tests, the complaint says.<\/p>\n

Sea said his boots would make it hard to walk straight. The complaint says he refused a roadside breath test.<\/p>\n

Breath test at the jail<\/h2>\n

Sea was arrested and taken to the Cass County Detention Center. He later spoke with an attorney, the complaint says.<\/p>\n

After that call, Sea gave a breath sample. The complaint says the result was a .21 alcohol concentration.<\/p>\n

Court and bail<\/h2>\n

The case was filed in court on Thursday, February 5, 2026. Sea appeared in court after the filing.<\/p>\n

Judge Jana Austad set bail at $12,000 unconditional. The court also set a $0 option with conditions.<\/p>\n
