WEST FARGO, N.D.<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 West Fargo police say shots were fired Friday afternoon.<\/p>\n

Officers were called at 1:56 p.m. to the 400 block of 26th Avenue West.<\/p>\n

The call reported shots fired in the area, police said.<\/p>\n

What the police say happened<\/h2>\n

Officers arrived and confirmed gunfire, according to police.<\/p>\n

Police say two nearby vehicles were hit by the gunfire.<\/p>\n

Both vehicles were unoccupied at the time.<\/p>\n

No injuries were reported, police said.<\/p>\n

While officers responded, they spotted a suspected vehicle leaving the area.<\/p>\n

Police say they tried to stop the vehicle.<\/p>\n

The driver fled right away, according to police.<\/p>\n

Pursuit and arrest<\/h2>\n

Police started a pursuit as the vehicle drove south on Veterans Boulevard.<\/p>\n

Officers used a PIT maneuver in the 3200 block of Veterans Boulevard.<\/p>\n

The driver was taken into custody after the vehicle was stopped.<\/p>\n

Police identified the driver as Brittany Nicole Glennon<\/strong>, 35, of Florida.<\/p>\n

She was booked on felony reckless endangerment and felony fleeing, police said.<\/p>\n

Police also listed driving under the influence and firing a gun in city limits.<\/p>\n

Investigation continues<\/h2>\n

Police say the case remains under investigation.<\/p>\n

They have not released more details about a motive.<\/p>\n

They have not said what kind of gun was used.<\/p>\n

West Fargo bans firing guns inside city limits in most cases.<\/p>\n

The city points residents to ordinance 12-0306 for details.<\/p>\n
