The case is filed in <a href=\"https:\/\/mncourts.gov\/find-courts\/becker\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Becker County District Court<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Court records say the case involves a white 2011 Dodge Journey SUV.<\/p>\n<h2>What court records allege<\/h2>\n<p>According to the complaint, the SUV was dropped off for service on May 23, 2025. It was left at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dansservicecenters.com\/Locations\/mode\/3\/110-main-street-west-detroit-lakes-mn-56501\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dan\u2019s Service Center<\/a> in Detroit Lakes.<\/p>\n<p>The complaint says the SUV was taken early on May 25. The business reported the theft on May 27, 2025.<\/p>\n<p>A Detroit Lakes police officer responded to the report. The officer reviewed the shop\u2019s security video.<\/p>\n<p>The video shows a man walking to the front passenger door. The complaint says the door was unlocked.<\/p>\n<p>The man opened the door and sat inside the SUV. He stayed there for about 15 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>He then got out and walked around the lot. The complaint says he stumbled.<\/p>\n<p>The man later pulled up his sweatshirt hood. It was parked behind a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.napaonline.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NAPA Auto Parts<\/a> location in Detroit Lakes.<\/p>\n<p>The owner then drove the vehicle back to the service center. Repairs continued after it was returned.<\/p>\n<p>The owner told police she did not know Kroulik. She said nobody else had access to her vehicle keys.<\/p>\n<h2>Next court date<\/h2>\n<p>Kroulik is scheduled to appear Feb. 26 before Becker County District Judge Gretchen D. Thilmony.<\/p>\n<p>A criminal charge is not proof of guilt.
