Thief River Falls, Pennington County<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) A two-vehicle crash was reported at a roundabout near Challenger Elementary School<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The call came in at 2:32 p.m. on Jan. 27, according to the sheriff\u2019s office.<\/p>\n

Robert Edwards, of Thief River Falls, was driving a 2015 Chevrolet Sonic.<\/p>\n

He was approaching the roundabout when he could not stop.<\/p>\n

His vehicle hit a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix driven by Loren Pittman, of Thief River Falls.<\/p>\n

Pittman was already in the roundabout, the report said.<\/p>\n

Deputies reported no known injuries.<\/p>\n

What happened<\/h2>\n

The crash happened near Challenger Elementary School in Thief River Falls.<\/p>\n

The school serves young students and sees daily traffic on nearby roads.<\/p>\n

The report says Edwards was nearing the roundabout when he failed to stop.<\/p>\n

The Sonic then collided with Pittman\u2019s Pontiac as it traveled through the circle.<\/p>\n

No ambulance transport was listed in the initial report.<\/p>\n
