Bemidji, Beltrami County<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 Bemidji fire crews responded to a reported fire near Lake Bemidji Tuesday night.<\/p>\n

Video received around 7:40 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2026, showed emergency response activity by the waterfront.<\/p>\n

The reported location was near Paul Bunyan Park, close to the Paul Bunyan and Babe statues.<\/p>\n

Officials have not released confirmed details on injuries, damage, or the cause.<\/p>\n

What we know so far<\/h2>\n

Early information indicated crews were working along the lake area near the park.<\/p>\n

There were also unconfirmed reports of a makeshift camp in the area earlier in the day.<\/p>\n

Those reports said the camp was removed, then later returned.<\/p>\n
