Kittson County<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 Minnesota state vital records now list the death of 57-year-old Kevin Sele of Karlstad, Minnesota, as a suicide.<\/p>\n

The update follows a multi-agency response. It began with a 911 call on November 1, 2025.<\/p>\n

What happened on Nov. 1<\/h2>\n

In an earlier release, the Kittson County Sheriff\u2019s Office<\/a> described the call.<\/p>\n

A dispatcher took the 911 call at 1:11 a.m.<\/p>\n

Authorities said Sele reported an unknown person entered the home.<\/p>\n

Sele said the person assaulted him and took his firearm, officials said.<\/p>\n

The dispatcher then heard a gunshot, according to the release.<\/p>\n

After that sound, Sele no longer responded to the dispatcher.<\/p>\n

Multiple agencies were called to assist.<\/p>\n

They included the Minnesota State Patrol<\/a> and the Minnesota BCA Crime Scene Program<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The records list the cause of death as a gunshot wound.<\/p>\n
