Hubbard County<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 A Nevis woman died in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday in Henrietta Township.<\/p>\n

The crash happened at 12:10 p.m. on January 27, 2026. It was at Highway 34 and County Road 11. Henrietta Township is in Hubbard County, east of Park Rapids.<\/p>\n

What happened<\/h2>\n

Investigators say a 2005 Buick LeSabre was traveling east on Highway 34 near Evening Drive. The car crossed the center line. It then lost control. It struck a westbound 2007 Chevy Colorado head-on.<\/p>\n

The Minnesota State Patrol listed the road as wet. Conditions can change fast in winter. Drivers are urged to slow down. Extra space helps prevent cross-over crashes.<\/p>\n

The driver of the Buick was Nancy Irene Bamlet, 80, of Nevis. The State Patrol listed her injury as fatal. She died from her injuries.<\/p>\n
