The suspect is Andre Lamar Dancy, of Fargo. Police say the victim was about 20 weeks pregnant.<\/p>\n

An officer responded to Sanford Health<\/a> in Fargo at about 7 p.m. on January 26. Police say the woman reported a domestic assault.<\/p>\n

The incident report says the woman told police the assault happened earlier that morning. She said it happened at Dancy\u2019s residence in Fargo.<\/p>\n

Police say Dancy punched her in the face. Police also say he punched her in the stomach. The report says the woman had visible injuries.<\/p>\n

The report says Dancy strangled the woman for about 20 seconds. Police say the woman feared for her safety.<\/p>\n
