Fargo, Cass County (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>)<\/strong> \u2014 A Fargo man is in custody after an alleged assault.<\/p>\n

What happened<\/h2>\n

Court documents say police went to a south Fargo apartment at about 4:35 a.m. Friday.<\/p>\n

The victim called 911 and reported a violation of a no-contact order.<\/p>\n

She said a man was chasing her.<\/p>\n

Police found her upset and crying, according to records.<\/p>\n

She said she was assaulted and had trouble breathing.<\/p>\n

She showed officers a phone video from the scene.<\/p>\n

The video is about 38 seconds long, court documents say.<\/p>\n

The victim said Anthony Ramirez Linn<\/strong> struck her several times inside an apartment.<\/p>\n

She said he grabbed her when she tried to leave.<\/p>\n

She said he pulled her back inside while she was on the 911 call.<\/p>\n

Police reported redness and injuries on her face and neck.<\/p>\n

They located Linn nearby and detained him within minutes, records say.<\/p>\n

Charges<\/h2>\n

Linn was arrested on Friday, Jan. 30.<\/p>\n

He is charged with felony domestic violence, causing serious bodily injury.<\/p>\n

He is also charged with violating an order that barred contact.<\/p>\n

That second charge is a Class A misdemeanor.<\/p>\n

Court update<\/h2>\n

Linn appeared in the Cass County court on Friday afternoon.<\/p>\n

He appeared before Judge Reid Brady<\/strong>, according to court records.<\/p>\n

He entered a not guilty plea to the misdemeanor count.<\/p>\n

He did not enter a plea on the felony count, records say.<\/p>\n

A preliminary hearing is set for March 20 at 1:30 p.m.<\/p>\n

The felony charge is listed as a Class C felony.<\/p>\n
