Police were called to a home at 8:39 p.m. Thursday, court documents say.<\/p>\n

A female family member said Kadlec became upset over a missing wallet.<\/p>\n

She said he picked up a baseball bat and began swinging it indoors.<\/p>\n

She said he swung the bat around the living room area.<\/p>\n

Damage reported inside the home<\/h2>\n

Officers reported that several items were damaged inside the home.<\/p>\n

They noted a damaged television set in the living room.<\/p>\n

They also noted damage to a glass cabinet and a table.<\/p>\n

Police said other household items showed signs of damage, too.<\/p>\n

The victim locked herself in a bathroom<\/h2>\n

The victim told police she feared for her safety during the incident.<\/p>\n

She said she locked herself inside a bathroom for protection.<\/p>\n

She stayed there until she believed the danger had passed.<\/p>\n

Arrest and charges<\/h2>\n

Kadlec left the home before officers arrived, the documents say.<\/p>\n

Police searched for him after taking the victim\u2019s statement.<\/p>\n

Kadlec later returned to the home, the documents say.<\/p>\n

Officers then arrested him without reported injury.<\/p>\n

Prosecutors charged Kadlec with felony terrorizing in the case.<\/p>\n

He also faces misdemeanor criminal mischief, court documents say.<\/p>\n
