Thief River Falls, Pennington County<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 A garage caught fire Wednesday morning north of Thief River Falls. No injuries were reported.<\/p>\n

Fire crews called to Highway 59<\/h2>\n

Firefighters were dispatched at 8:18 a.m. The Thief River Falls Fire Department released the details.<\/p>\n

The call came from 19253 Highway 59 NE. The address is outside the city.<\/p>\n

Vehicles were damaged, and smoke filled the building<\/h2>\n

Peggy Clow owns the garage where the fire happened, the department said.<\/p>\n

A 2015 Dodge pickup truck was parked inside the garage. A Polaris Ranger was also parked inside.<\/p>\n

Both vehicles had slight damage from heat and smoke. The garage itself had heavy smoke damage.<\/p>\n

Smoke damage can linger long after flames are out. Soot can stain walls and ceilings.<\/p>\n

Smoke can leave strong odors in stored items. Smoke can also damage tools and gear.<\/p>\n

Homeowners often need deep cleaning after this kind of fire. Experts suggest airing out the space when it is safe.<\/p>\n

Fire crews stayed on scene for about two hours. They worked to stop the fire and clear the smoke from the building.<\/p>\n
