West Fargo, North Dakota<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) A 50-year-old West Fargo man is jailed after police linked him to stolen vehicles. Court documents say drugs and guns were also found.<\/p>\n

Stolen Vehicle Report<\/h2>\n

Police say the case began late Tuesday after a vehicle theft report. The owner reported that a black Volkswagen Passat was running outside. The owner said someone drove off with it.<\/p>\n

Investigators reviewed nearby camera footage, according to court documents. The video showed a man exit a silver Chevrolet Aveo. Police say the man then entered the Passat and drove away.<\/p>\n

Traffic Stop Ends in Snowbank<\/h2>\n

Police later located the silver Aveo in West Fargo, documents say. Officers tried to stop the car around 2 a.m. Wednesday. Police say the driver attempted to flee.<\/p>\n

The Aveo became stuck in a snowbank, according to the report. Police arrested the driver at the scene. Authorities identified him as Anthony Luis Delatto<\/strong>, 50, of West Fargo.<\/p>\n

Drugs and Firearms Located<\/h2>\n

During the arrest, police say they found about nine grams of methamphetamine. They also reported finding a glass pipe on Delatto.<\/p>\n

A search of the vehicle turned up additional items, according to documents. Police say two handguns were found in a backpack. The backpack was on the front passenger floor.<\/p>\n

One handgun was loaded, police allege. Officers also reported locating ammunition. They also reported finding marijuana-related paraphernalia.<\/p>\n

Second Vehicle Also Reported Stolen<\/h2>\n

Police later confirmed the silver Aveo was stolen, court documents say. Investigators also noted Delatto had an active warrant. Police say his driver\u2019s license was revoked.<\/p>\n

A juvenile passenger was also detained during the stop. Police did not release the juvenile\u2019s name.<\/p>\n

Charges and Jail Status<\/h2>\n

Delatto faces eight charges, according to court filings. They include possession of methamphetamine with a firearm. They also include theft, fleeing police, and carrying a concealed weapon.<\/p>\n

He is being held at the Cass County Jail.<\/p>\n
