Thief River Falls<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) Fire destroyed a truck and damaged a nearby garage Saturday morning in Thief River Falls.<\/p>\n

The Thief River Falls Fire Department responded to a report of a vehicle fire outside 129 Willow Rd. The call came in at 9:41 a.m. on Saturday.<\/p>\n

Officials said a 2006 Ford F-150 caught fire while parked near the garage. The truck had been plugged into an outlet inside the garage.<\/p>\n

The flames destroyed the truck. Heat also melted a large section of siding on the garage.<\/p>\n

Mike Skibicki owns both the truck and the garage, according to the fire department.<\/p>\n

Damage and Response<\/h2>\n

Firefighters arrived and worked to contain the fire. Crews prevented the flames from spreading further into the structure.<\/p>\n

The fire caused heavy damage to the pickup. It also left visible damage on the garage exterior.<\/p>\n

No injuries were reported in the incident.<\/p>\n

Cause Still Under Investigation<\/h2>\n

The cause of the fire remains unknown. The fire department has not released an estimate of the total damage.<\/p>\n
