Zander Olson, of Thief River Falls, was driving a 2005 Ford Escape south on Highway 59.<\/p>\n

Police said Olson approached First Street and lost control on the ice.<\/p>\n

The Escape then hit the rear of a 2020 Dodge Ram 2500.<\/p>\n

James McClain, of Thief River Falls, was driving the pickup.<\/p>\n

Both drivers stayed at the scene, according to the report.<\/p>\n

Traffic slowed while officers checked the vehicles and cleared the roadway.<\/p>\n

Police did not share the exact impact point within the intersection.<\/p>\n

The report also did not list the speed of either vehicle.<\/p>\n

No ambulance transport was noted.<\/p>\n
