ECKLES TOWNSHIP, Beltrami County<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 A Bemidji man was injured in a rollover near Wilton.<\/p>\n

The crash happened on Highway 2 at Highway 89. The location is near Wilton in Eckles Township. The time was about 1:13 p.m. Wednesday, January 21, 2026.<\/p>\n

What happened<\/h2>\n

The Minnesota State Patrol reports a 2004 Ford F-250 was westbound on Highway 2. The truck lost control on icy roads. It entered the median and rolled.<\/p>\n

Troopers listed the road condition as snow and ice. Only one vehicle was involved in the crash.<\/p>\n

Driver identified<\/h2>\n

The driver was Leroy Allen Engesether, 83, of Bemidji. Troopers said his injuries were not life-threatening. The report lists his care facility as Sanford Health.<\/p>\n

Troopers reported he was not wearing a seat belt. Airbags did not deploy. Alcohol was not suspected.<\/p>\n
