Troopers logged the call at about 2:02 a.m.<\/p>\n<h2>What happened<\/h2>\n<p>The Minnesota State Patrol said a Nissan Altima was traveling west on Interstate 94. The crash occurred near mile marker 194 in Monticello.<\/p>\n<p>Troopers said the car struck a shoulder sign barrier. Troopers listed his injuries as not life-threatening.<\/p>\n<p>He was taken to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.centracare.com\/locations\/profile\/monticello-hospital\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CentraCare &#8211; Monticello Hospital<\/a> for treatment.<\/p>\n<p>Troopers reported the airbags deployed. Troopers also reported Peredogarcia was not wearing a seat belt.<\/p>\n<p>Alcohol was not suspected.
