Bemidji (trfnews.i234.me)<\/strong> \u2013 Nathan Christopher Crouch<\/strong>, 42, of Bemidji<\/a>, has been charged with felony stalking, second-degree burglary, and misdemeanor domestic abuse for violating a no-contact order.<\/p>\n

Accusations and Investigation<\/h3>\n

According to court records, on October 8, 2025, Crouch violated an order for protection by sending a video to a woman, threatening to commit suicide by hanging. He also sent several text messages, breaching the no-contact order.<\/p>\n

On December 26, 2025, at around 11:44 p.m., a deputy responded to a suspicious activity call at the woman\u2019s home in rural Detroit Lakes. Crouch allegedly walked around the house with a flashlight, entered through a basement window, and moved inside. He then fled the scene and sent the woman a text message the following morning at 4:52 a.m.<\/p>\n

The woman, who was out of town at the time, confirmed that no one should have been inside her house.<\/p>\n

Bail and Court Appearance<\/h3>\n

Crouch was arrested and charged with multiple offenses, including felony stalking and burglary. On December 30, 2025, his bail was set at $60,000 or $30,000 with conditions. Conditions included no contact with the victim, no entry into the victim\u2019s residence, and compliance with pre-trial supervision.<\/p>\n

Additionally, a new Domestic Abuse No Contact Order was issued. Crouch\u2019s next court appearance is scheduled for January 26, 2026, before District Judge Gretchen D. Thilmony.<\/p>\n
