Becker County<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 A rural Frazee man will spend years in state prison after a meth case tied to a search warrant.<\/p>\n

Jamie Allen Danzeisen, 54, was sentenced in Becker County District Court on a felony second-degree drug charge. Court records say the case stems from a search on Aug. 21, 2024.<\/p>\n

What investigators did<\/h2>\n

Court records say officers executed a search warrant at a home on Highway 10 near Frazee. Several people were inside at the time.<\/p>\n

A woman spoke with officers after being advised of her Miranda rights. She pointed to an aluminum can in her bedroom. Court records say it held several bags of white crystals.<\/p>\n

She told officers the substance was methamphetamine. She also said it belonged to her, according to the complaint.<\/p>\n

What was found<\/h2>\n

Officers also searched a Dodge pickup truck outside the home, court records say. The truck belonged to Danzeisen.<\/p>\n

The complaint says officers found a black zippered bag inside the truck. Inside were two sandwich bags with white crystals.<\/p>\n

Court records say Danzeisen told officers he kept methamphetamine in his pickup.<\/p>\n

Testing by the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension confirmed meth in the items, according to the complaint. The complaint lists about 105 grams in the aluminum can. It lists about 112 grams in the truck bag.<\/p>\n

Sentence and fines<\/h2>\n

On Dec. 8, Judge Michelle Lawson sentenced Danzeisen to 78 months in prison. The sentence is to be served at St. Cloud, court records say.<\/p>\n

He received credit for seven days served in jail. He was fined $50 and ordered to pay $85 in court fees.<\/p>\n

Separate theft case<\/h2>\n

Danzeisen was also sentenced on a misdemeanor theft charge, court records say. The incident date was Sept. 28, 2024.<\/p>\n

The complaint says he was caught stealing two new propane tanks. The tanks were taken from Swanson\u2019s Repair and Rental in Detroit Lakes.<\/p>\n

In that case, he was sentenced to 90 days in jail. The jail time runs at the same time as the prison term. He also received seven days of jail credit. He was fined $50 plus $85 in court fees.<\/p>\n

A felony charge of possessing burglary tools was dropped in a plea agreement, according to court records.<\/p>\n
